Monday, Sept 25 - Students given time to finish the Phaethon story and submit their assignments. Starting activity 1.12 - Arachne. Students will be able to compare and contrast character traits that lead to self-destruction in a myth.
Tuesday, Sept 26 - Students will be reading the play of Medusa. Our class will be discussing how the play format gives us limited point of view. Class discussion of theme and consequences.
Wednesday, Sept 27 - Students will view videos on Arachne and on the Medusa stories. Students will fill out plot diagrams for each story on Google Classroom.
Thursday, Sept 28 - Activity 1.13 - Icarus and Daedalus. Students will focus on highlighting figurative language and sensory details.
