Warmups: Identifying figurative language
Monday, Oct 9 - Students will be given time to complete their wanted poster if they haven't already done so.
Tuesday, Oct 10 - Completing page 68 in Spring Board with a focus on the symbols associated with the gods. Begin activity 1.14 - The Burro and The Fox. Students will be identifying evidence of symbolic characteristics in animals.
Wednesday, Oct 11 - Completing activity 1.14 - students reading the original version of the Lion, the Fox and the Stag story.
Thursday, Oct 12 - Completing activity 1.15. Students will be identifying what the two myths from yesterday have in common, analyzing structural components of myths, and brainstorming creating myths for their embedded assessment.
Friday, Oct 13 - No school Fall break!
