Monday, Dec 4: Students will be planning a trip to Ockerman Elementary on Tuesday, Dec 5. Students will be creating a short story geared towards younger readers (1st - 3rd grade). We will visit classrooms at the elementary school and ask the students questions about reading. Students will take the info they gathered and write stories throughout the week.
Tuesday, Dec 5: Focus group day - trip to OES. Each group will be asking 1st - 3rd grade students what types of books they like, what keeps them interested in what they are reading, and any other questions they have come up with in class from Monday.
Wednesday, Dec 6: Writing groups. Students will be working on a plot diagram using the feedback they got from the OES trip.
Thursday, Dec 7: writing groups and plot diagrams day
Friday, Dec 8: Vocab test on lesson 10 list.
